Southeast of downtown, the Southside area of Jacksonville runs between Mandarin and the intracoastal and down to St Johns county.
Area Description:
The Southside area of Jacksonville is a big mix of residential and commercial development. This section is located South of downtown and is easily accessible from I-95 and US 1. Southside is an established area with a huge variety of restaurants. There
are also multiple malls in this area. The new St Johns Town Center is in the Southside area off of JTB and the JTB/9A area.
Housing Types:
There are many housing options in the Southside area. There is a large selection of condos, townhomes and single family homes. While most subdivisions are non-gated, there are several really nice options for gated communities.
Housing Prices:
Single family homes from around $100,000 to over $3 million. Condos start from under $100k to over $2 million.
