The Palencia clubhouse is beautiful. Like the rest of the common area in Palencia it was designed with a Spanish style. Full-service restaurants are located in the square. Homes and condos are built along the square then radiate out into different individual communities. Palencia has a couple of shopping centers at the entrance. On the north side of the entrance Starbucks, along with the new Burger King, highlights a variety of shops and restaurants. On the south side of the entrance Food Lion and Dunkin' Donuts are now open to serve area residents.
