Kensington is a community of new and newer homes located between Jacksonville Florida and St Augustine Florida on US 1. The Kensington community it located just north of the International Golf Parkway and US 1 intersection on the east side of the road. The community borders the Palencia community which lies just to the south.

The community has a nice pool for the residents and is located very close to the shopping centers developing around the outskirts of Palencia including Food Lion, Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.
